The company has adopted a system of corporate responsibility pursuant to Legislative Decree 231/01 on the “Administrative liability rules of legal persons and companies”. It is aimed at establishing the objective accountability of the professional figures involved in their functional roles and related to both internal procedures and external suppliers, which refers to its own Code of Ethics.
Bertini’s Code of Ethics defines the set of ethical and social rules that the members of the company must adhere to under Law 231/01 on the administrative and criminal liability of companies. In force since October 2013, the company’s “System 231” is made up of a set of procedures comprised by implementation models that define scopes and limits of employees’ personal action and the consequent collective and personal responsibilities. These procedures and standards are also applied to the suppliers and subcontractors who work for the company.
Upon completion of the complex company’s professional and moral quality certification came the registration, from November 2014, on the whitelist of the Prefecture of Vercelli, which confirms its membership of the list of suppliers, service providers and executors of works not subject to mafia infiltration attempts, operating in the sectors most at risk, as provided for by law 6/11/2012, no. 190 and subsequent amendments and additions.
